With a straight pull cable head, armors are not bent over a radius at the cone, increasing the number of runs possible on the cable head before the fatigue of the head. Inner wires “count” with this style of cable head, providing added tensile strength without slipping or breaking prematurely. This allows for much more reliable pullouts, and reheading is quick and simple. ICSI’s cable heads are available in the same OD’s and lengths as most competitors’ heads.
